I don't know how to do with this thing. I was only plugging my flash drive unto my laptop and I tried to open the file on it but my flash drive wasn't responding. And the whole screen turns out green but i still heard notification sound on it . Does my monitor has a problem? It is windows 8.1 model is 14-d012AU

Hi BKH6,

 

I was wondering if you can help. I can create a video to show you what I am talking about, if needed.

 

Here the issue with my  HP Touchsmart tm2, when i sign in the screen has a green background highlight.

 

I think it has to do with the graphic card being update or replace if possible.

 

Can I do that with this laptop?

 

 

One min it show clear and the next the green highlight backround appears and stay there.

 

I know its been a while since we talk but any help appreciated as I am trying to sort out a destop pc and a laptop that both are not working properly.

I have the same problem after replacing fan/heatsinks.

External monitor works fine.

Suspect cable problem.

Is it possible to blow a monitor with static electricity?
