I recently purchased a HP Laptop 15s-fq2625TU (Windows 11) and it will not connect to my dock so I can use the dual screens. I have updated drivers and checked that the USB root allows the power management. My work computer, my other HP laptop and my sons HP laptop all connect automatically. Can anyone offer any advice.
In some of my reading I am concerned the type of USB C this laptop has does not support connection to a dock for power and video. In saying this I specifically mentioned that this is what I would be doing with the laptop to the salesperson and they said nothing.
Thanks

Thanks for the reply.
it is ridiculous that HP don't make them with the USB C which can connect to a hub, especially given so many people are now using hubs. Very disappointing.
Do you know how I can determine easily which laptops from the HP range do have the correct USB C?
