I have a HP ProBook 640 G1 with an unusual issue. The left click on the mouse pad acts as the right click, as does the right click, effectively leaving me with two right clicks. I have tried the following to resolve this:
- Mouse Settings (Windows)
- Mouse Properties (Buttons + TouchPad)
- Uninstall and Reinstall driver
- BIOS Settings
- Windows updates
- Hard Reset
One thing I have noticed is that when an external mouse is attached via USB, the mouse pad left click works no problems, although the right click no longer functions even though both work on the mouse.
Any ideas and suggestions would be greatly appreciated
