Clicking on either side of the trackpad will cause the trackpad to stay locked as if the user is holding down the click.
What I just figured out is that it seems to be related to the case somehow - when I squeeze the case slightly at the center and bottom of the trackpad, I can hear a small click and the trackpad is "released" from the click position.

Sometimes it will release when I press upward on the same area from below.  I can feel the trackpad "release" and pop upward when I do this.

I've checked for an updated driver, and also uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version.

Sounds like a physical problem but is there any way this might be a software setting or issue to be resolved?
