Lid closed and reopened problem

When lid is closed and reopened the screen is blank and I have to restart computer.

Please help me.

(Please no trolls with technical "support" scripts with phrases like "I am glad to help you" or "reinstall your OS") 🙂

Dear Sir, I worked as a system engineer and of cource I tried power options first.

This is a real problem that other people experienced too. If you are not aware of it, please do not bother.

Now, is there someone who dealt with it and knows the solution?

The only solution I found so far is to remove sensor magnet from the lid. Registry hacks are not very helpful people say.

Any other ideas from other people?
