I bought the Envy x360 from Currys three weeks ago. I tried the device and it was fine, but the pen didnt work. I put it on charge for hours, on various charging cables and the pen would not ever change from Orange to White light. We went back to currys two weeks ago and they said they ordered from HP but we went back yesterday and HP had still not delivered the pen. I need the stylus for school which starts in less than a week. Is there anyway HP could send a replacement pen in that time, or are they gonna pull the same stunt again?

Welcome to the HP Community --
I wonder whether HP would intervene with a third party merchant to change the process to replace a product.
Too, the merchant is subject to what they can do in any given situation.
True - that is a personal opinion and not facts in gold writing.
You could try contacting HP Support -- Use the computer's serial number to open the case - Explain the situation and ask for help. HP Support will not likely intervene or interact with a merchant but might be able to offer other options.

Reminders - READ
Case submission to HP Support is available to those whose devices registered and are still in Warranty.
Some regions display phone / chat contact information only after the case is submitted online
Not every issue is covered under the standard Hardware Warranty. Purchased Care Pack Warranties differ by contract.
HP is not a "general" repair facility: Requests for out-of-warranty repairs are usually not accepted.
If the problem is hardware, if your device is in Warranty, if your device is Registered, and you cannot submit your case to Support, let us know and we will forward a request.
Important
HP Phone numbers you find on the Internet have likely been hijacked. Old HP phone numbers – those numbers no longer used by HP since the move to “online” case submissions – might have been taken over by thieves.
Do not be a victim.
Stay vigilant.

What else?
If you truly need the pen and cannot wait for help, including waiting for your merchant to replace the pen,
Then
Purchase a replacement pen.
True, replacing the product on your schedule moves the responsibility for the timely replacement to your side.
--------------------------
If you can do so, perhaps purchase a replacement pen from HP -- HP accepts direct responsibility for products purchased from the HP Store.
