Hello,
I received this laptop in late December of last year, and I have been happy with it overall. However, I have noticed that over time dents/scratches have appeared on the screen in the place where the rubber feet sit under the keyboard. It is not like I have been rough with this device or applied unnecessary pressure to it that might cause these to form. They can be wiped off with a rag, but they appear again once the laptop is opened after not being used for a while. I wonder if something like this is covered under warranty. Currently, my warranty lasts until towards the end of December of this year. The pictures below show what these marks look like. Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I understand that your HP notebook screen get smudges from the rubber feet around the keyboard area.
The only way to fix the problem is by servicing the computer. As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now.
I would request you to reach out to our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to check the available service options in order to diagnose the computer physically. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
