Maximum number of external screens
02-26-2021 03:49 AM

Hi,
Does anyone have any information on the maximum number of external displays i can get working with external screens connected to mu Ultraslim dock?
I've currently got 2 x HP ProDisplays P221 connected (1 x displayport, 1 x VGA) and an addtional HP w2207 (connected to the remaining displayport)
If i have internal screen open, i can only connect to 2 of the external screens, not the 3rd one
Within Intel Graphics panel it only shows 3 screens
Within Windows, all 4 screen are displayed and the display not working as the option 'Disconnect this display'. If i change the setting, i loose one of the other screens
If i shutdown the internal screen, i can use all 3 screens
is this a limit of the gpu?

The dock has folloiwing ports
- One standard lock slot
- One docking station cable lock slot
- One Side docking connector
- One VGA port
- One LAN/Ethernet port
- One 1Gb LAN/Ethernet port (10/100/1000)
- Three USB 3.0 ports
- One USB 3.0 charging port
- One Power connector
- One Line in jack
- One Line out jack
You should be able to use 2 external monitors to your machine, 1 digital port on your machine itself and 1 analog port on the dock plus laptop screen, total 3. From your setup, you also can use 3 monitors (4 minus laptop screen).
Regards.
