Monitor Extend not working-New TV "TCL 43S515"- Detects "43S515", but no resolution setup, TV nthng.
on my HP DV7-1273CL, Windows 7-PRO, 8mb wSSD
Was working fine with 3 monitors extended,
HPLaptop 1 = Primary, 2 = Acer K242HL to HDMI, 3=Acer K242HL to USB2.0
Purchased new TCL 43S515 - 4K 43inch TV per Chroma 4:4:4
Disconnected 2 = Acer K242HL from HDMI.
Setup TV to HDMI 3 (ARC), Displayed with Laptop Monitor and TV as same 1/2 output.
I could not get the TV display to Extend.
Setup TV to HDMI 1, Dispay shows the TV as "43S515", so OS recognizes the product.
However, no Advanced Setting (shaded out), and cannot select any pulldowns for resolution settings.
Note: the 3rd Acer monitor is utilizing a j5create USB 2.0 to HDMI adapter, w/drivers loaded. Works fine both ways.
Looking forward to getting more screen real estate, w (some) 4K features......
I have tried the Reboot sequence, with TV/Monitor ON and set, connected, reboot, and still no fix.
