Unable to detect monitor on HDMI ports of Anker USB-C dock. Monitor and HDMI cable work perfectly when connected directly to notebook HDMI, so I know they are good. I've followed instruction by both HP and Microsoft, but still cannot get my monitor to work through the USB-C dock. What's up?

The specs of your machine contains parts on the following options

- It has (1) USB 3.2 Gen 1.0 Type-C port; 5 Gbps signaling rate (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge) port which support charging using USB-C chargers.
- It requires

1. Charge: To charge your machine. What is the output wattage rating of your Anker USB-C dock ? Does it have enough "juice" ?
2. Monitor: Please try DIRECT USB-C to USB-C monitors, do not use HDMI port from the dock because there is a lot of problems with that "standard" (everyone says standard but NOT).
Updated: Please use the HP USB-C G5 (5TW10AA) dock, you will get monitors using DP or HDMI direct from the dock. The dock charges your machine when NOT in use or idle (it only has 100W output rating).
Regards.
