I have the monitors in a j5create docking station. only one will display. I have reconnected the monitors directly to the laptop and it still does not display.

Have you reconnected each monitor -- one at a time -- to confirm that both work.

 

Have you tried swapping the connections -- as I presume only one of the monitors does not display when both are connected.
