Hi all,
I have an HP Pavilion x360 Laptop - 14-dw0xxxxx (Intel Core i7) which I am trying to connect to two Dell monitors.
The specs of my external port, that I am using for the USB-C cable are: 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 10Gbps signaling rate (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge)
Problem:
1) The monitors remain completely undetected, even though the USB-C cable that is being routed via the monitors (two external monitors) to my laptop is successfully achieving the following:
a) It successfully charges my laptop
b) The mouse and keyboard which are plugged into the monitors (not the laptop) are working seamlessly. So it is clear that the USB-C is "detecting" the physical existence of the monitors (because it is using their power supply and the keyboard and mouse plugged into the monitor) but simply not picking up their display settings
I use my other laptop (an HP Elite x360 1040 Intel vPRO) successfully with these same monitors but for some reason this other laptop will not connect. Please can you guide me? Very grateful for your help 🙂

I can't explain why but my HP machine refuses to use USB-C (HP zBook) to USB-C (Dell monitor) connection. I have to use HDMI connection. My Dell monitor is happy to connect to my Dell machine using USB-C to USB-C
Regards.
