Have already searched the available forums/posts regarding this issue and tried the solutions, none have worked. My touchpad and USB mouse are both only able to move but intermittently unable to click. If I open Task Manager, it'll work for a bit and then stop clicking again. I've tried the Component Test on startup and the mouse and touchpad both passed/worked fine. I've tried to reset my entire PC and it still is not working. I've done a full scan with McAfee that was completely clean. Have done the basic - restart computer, check for updates, try a different external mouse, turned touchpad on/off, reinstalled touchpad driver. None of these have worked. Haven't downloaded any new apps/extensions recently either. No recent physical damage either. Please help!!
Additional things that have now started happening since trying to fix it: my USB mouse scroll part now will get stuck on scroll. Sometimes when I try to right OR left click something, it opens that in a new tab completely. And then I can't close it because the regular click function isn't working.
