Hi,

I'm having problem with my HP laptop synaptics touchpad since last 3 days.

Multi-Finget gestures are not working on my PC. I can use touchpad for directing on screen but I can't use two finger scrolling and such gestures.

On opening synaptics Touchpad app on my PC 'unable to connect to pointing device driver' message pops up.synaptics touchpad.png

In mouse settings I can't find device setting option for touchpad.  mouse settings.png

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In Control Panel as well as Task Manager "Synaptics TouchPad" is not showing.mouse settings.png

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In Device manager under 'mice and pointing devices' it shows that Touchpad is working fine. mouse settings.png

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I read regarding this issue a lot and I've been told to uninstall and reinstall the driver, so I did it. But it didn't worked.   

Is there any solution for this?
