Multi monitor, max resolution and Display Port

I own an Elitebook 8770w with an nVidia Quadro k3000m and display port video out (think is a 1.2 DP) and i need a big work area for audio and video editing (not gaming) .

Questions are:

1) can the display port handle a daisy-chain multimonitor system (if the monitors have in and out for this feature)?

2) wich is the best/maximum resolution of the nowdays monitors and the size of monitor i can use with that graphic card?

3) can that graphic card handle that ultra big and wide curve monitors like the Samsung 49” 34:9 aspect ratio?

You are right, it has Display port 1.2 and the following link shows information for DP 1.2 (and other versions)

Answer 1: As you can see, TOTAL resolution of all monitors can't be more than its max no matter which way you connect.

Answer 2: There are many 4K monitors around now. Please use the following review

Answer 3: I connect DP 1.2 port on an HP machine to my 65" 4K TV without problem. At the end of the day, you have to check resolution of the Samsung 49” 34:9 aspect ratio to make sure it does not over support resolution.
