Pinch zooming not working--the touchpad mouse just jumps! I use adobe xd and it requires zoom in and out to navigate so it's really annoying that I can't use the application because my pinch zoom for in and out doesn't work.
Please help thx --student trying to get work done

Hey there! @Thepln, Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Community! We are here to help you.
I will try to help you out, not to worry.
Before that, I have a few questions for you in order to assist you better.
Have you tried checking with an external mouse? Does the issue persist?
Were there any recent windows update on the PC?
Was the touchpad gesture working previously in the notebook?
So let's continue with the troubleshooting now.
Please share the product number of the PC to assist you better.
Try updating the BIOS and touchpad drivers on the PC and check if it helps.
You can update the drivers on the PC using HP support assistant.
Refer this article to know more information about using the HP support assistant. Click Here
Try the steps recommended below.
In Windows, search for the mouse.
From the results list, click Mouse & touchpad settings.
Click Additional mouse options.
On the ClickPad tab, click Settings.
On the General tab, you find the following settings:
Set Pointing Speed, Tapping, Scrolling, and Gestures.
Click - Set tap and drag, and two or three finger clicks.
Scroll - Customize the scrolling characteristics.
Gestures - Set two finger pinching and rotating gestures
In the Advanced tab, there are more settings.
SmartSense - Set palm interference on the touchpad and advanced filters.
Motion - Adjust the touch pressure to activate the click pad and travel of the cursor.
EdgeMotion - Set scrolling or dragging when your finger is at the edge of the click pad.
Accessibility - Set cursor slow motion by pressing specified keys.
Turn individual gestures on or off by clicking on the box next to each item. A check in the box indicates that gesture is enabled.
If the issue still persists after trying out the steps try the steps recommended below.
In Windows, search for Command Prompt. In the search results, right-click Command Prompt and select Run as administrator. Then click Yes.
In Command Prompt, type sfc /scannow. Make sure to include the space between sfc and the /.
Press Enter and wait while System File Checker scans for corrupted files.
When scanning is complete, the results are displayed on the screen.
If the file checker found and replaced any corrupted files, restart the computer and check the performance.
If the file checker did not find any corrupted files or found corrupted files but could not replace them, go to the next step.
If System File Checker finds corrupted files but cannot replace them, use the Deployment Image Servicing and Management (DISM) tool. DISM checks the corrupted files; then downloads and replaces the files using Windows Update.
In Windows, open a web browser.
NOTE:
You need to be connected to the Internet to use DISM.
In Windows, search for Command Prompt. In the search results, right-click Command Prompt and select Run as administrator. Then click Yes.
In Command Prompt, type dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth. Make sure to include the space before each / in the command line.
Press Enter and wait while DISM works. This might take several minutes.
If DISM finds corrupted files, it replaces them using Windows Update. If this occurs, after DISM is finished, restart your computer and see if the performance has improved.
