My laptop will not recognize multiple displays (total of three including my laptop). I have two external monitors hooked up, these are the primary displays I want to use. Of the three devices it only detects 2 displays, my laptop is Display 1 and both external monitors are detected as Display 2. It will not differentiate between the two.
I have tried two different (yet similar) hubs - usb-c and the hubs will pick up devices connected to other ports but will not pick up the monitors when connected to the dual HDMI ports. I also attempted to connect one via HDMI and one via VGA but the VGA connection in the hub did not work either. My laptop does not have its own VGA port.
Please help, this is my current situation lol
Is it possible to use two external monitors and have my laptop recognize them as different displays?
