I'm looking for a solution to drive two external monitors from an HP Pavilion 15-eg3000.
The laptop has a USB-C port, which only drives one external monitor on its own. Presumably, I need some kind of docking station to drive two.
My concern about looking into HP docks is all of the support articles I've seen that reference the docks as "business" products and various HP laptops as "consumer" products. It appears never the twain shall meet.
What solutions do I have that would work over a USB-C port and drive two external monitors? Would an HP USB-C Dock work? Or do I need to look elsewhere?
Thanks in advance.

What is your HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-eg3000 machine ? It should have same ports as the following machine

Technically, it's the HP Pavilion Laptop 15-eg3053cl (7F5Q8UA). Apologies for not mentioning that. I thought the eg-3000 was the full name.
According to the specs on the HP site, It has the same USB Type-C port that you described, which sounds like it ought to work.
My hesitation came from seeing several support posts where the answer was "that's a business device" and the questioner's laptop was considered a "consumer device" that hadn't been tested with the dock. Perhaps those were cases where someone was trying the Thunderbolt Dock with a laptop that only had a USB-C port. I know I fell into that trap, myself.
Thanks!
