Hello there,
My screen got crashed. I bought a new touch screen for my Envy HP. But after the technician mounted it. It is not working even properly. It is detecting the touch but the touches are multiple on different parts of the screen. It doesn't seem like a problem in the new touch screen. But i dont know? Please HP Support

Welcome to HP Support Forums. A really great platform for posting all your questions and finding solutions.

I have gone through your Post and I would like to help

I suggest you update the BIOS from this Link: https://support.hp.com/ca-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-envy-15-u000-x360-convertible-pc/6944194/model/7...

Also check if the Touchscreen works in BIOS

Shut down the Notebook and upon restarting keep tapping on F10 till you see System Configuration Screen ( BIOS )

Let me know if the issue persists in BIOS. You can also run a Diagnostic on the Touchscreen to confirm the Hardware Functionality

- Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
- Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second.
- When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
- On the main menu, click Component Tests and Touchscreen

Keep me posted

Hello KrazyToad,

I went through your post and applied that. But the issue still persists in the bios too.  I am attaching some screeshots so you may be clear about the issue. @hanzlakamal,

It looks like you were interacting with @KrazyToad, but he is out for the day & I'll be glad to help you out,
I'm the Jeet_Singh & I'm at your service.

After reviewing your post thoroughly, I see that you have performed the steps suggested and unfortunately the issue occurs even when the computer is in the Bios Screen.

This definitely looks like a possible hardware failure with the notebook.

I'm sending out a Private message with the information you need to get this sorted,

Please check your Private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile

Next, to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it

Keep me posted,

that said, If the information I've provided was helpful,
