Envy 17
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there

My hp envy series is shutting down exactly after 30 mins. I ran many anti virus, windows defender & others but didnt find any malware. Ran my laptop in bios, safe mode & normal mode, yet faced same problem

Hardware wise no issue discovered as fan, hard disk all are ok. No heat up issue nor displaying any error prior shutting down as its sudden.

Contacted local support center but none helped so far & its more than 6 months for facing this issue.

Please help

@Epic1,

I reviewed your post and I understand that the computer is shutting down exactly after 30 minutes.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you update the BIOS and the chipset driver from the below link and check if it helps.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
