Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I had bought a HP Victus laptop for my college purposes 3 years ago. The laptop has not moved from my laptop table except 5 times and never has had any accidents. However recently I noticed my entire left side hinge is cracked open and the right side hinge is also cracking open. And this of course happens as soon as my warranty period is down and with no fault from my end with respect to the damages. I have tried adding my product using the serial id and prod id near the fans of the laptop but HP doesn't allow me to add up my product. Is this issue something which the HP team will cover or do I need to change my laptop and move completely away from HP since this is a stupid issue caused by their design flaw.
