Hi @Aditya187,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're experiencing issues with your Victus by HP Gaming Laptop 15's camera. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue.

Check Camera Permissions: Ensure that apps have permission to use the camera.

  • Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera and make sure that camera access is enabled for apps that need it.

Update Camera Drivers:

  • Open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start button and selecting it.
  • Expand Imaging Devices, right-click your camera, and select Update driver.
  • Choose Search automatically for updated driver software to check for updates.

Reinstall Camera Drivers:

  • In Device Manager, right-click your camera under Imaging Devices and select Uninstall device.
  • Restart your laptop, and Windows should automatically reinstall the camera driver.

Check for Windows Updates:

  • Go to Settings > Windows Update and check if there are any pending updates, as they may include fixes for camera issues.

Test in Another Application:

  • Try using the camera in a different application (e.g., Skype, Zoom) to see if the issue persists. This will help determine if it's a software-specific issue.

Perform a Hardware Diagnostics Test:

  • Restart your laptop and press F2 to open the HP Diagnostics tool. Run a camera test to check if there's a hardware issue.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
