Hi @FBUx,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HDMI connection issues!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Check HDMI Cable and Ports:
- Ensure that the HDMI cable is securely connected to both your laptop and monitor.
- Try using a different HDMI cable or test the cable with another device to verify that it's working.
Select the Correct Input Source:
- Use the monitor's menu to select the correct HDMI input source that corresponds to the port you are using.
Update Display Drivers:
- Visit the HP Support website and ensure that you have the latest display drivers installed on your HP Pavilion x360.
- You can also visit the Gigabyte website to ensure the monitor’s firmware is up-to-date.
Adjust Display Settings:
- On your HP Pavilion, go to Settings > Display.
- Under "Multiple Displays", select "Extend these displays" or "Duplicate these displays", depending on your preferences.
- Ensure the resolution settings match the capabilities of both your laptop and the monitor.
Check Graphics Output:
- Confirm that your HP Pavilion is set to output video via the HDMI port and not through its own screen.
- You can toggle this setting by pressing Windows + P and selecting your preferred display option (Duplicate/Extend/Second screen only).
Troubleshoot Power Issues:
- Make sure the monitor is powered on and the power cable is well connected.
- If the monitor has a power indicator, ensure it is turned on.
Reboot Devices:
- Restart both your laptop and your monitor to reset any configurations that might be causing the issue.
I hope this helps.
