My laptop automatically goes back to homescreen while i am working. Wheather i am watching youtube or visiting any website or simply just going through my folders offline, the screen automatically goes back. Sometimes the mouse is also unresponsive. I tried uninstalling the mouse drivers but nothing changed.

Hi @Sambit_Sekhar_,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

"I understand you're having trouble with your PC, where it keeps returning to the main Windows screen no matter which application you use. Sorry to hear about the issue. To help identify and resolve the problem, please try performing a BIOS restore. This can help fix any glitches on the device. Let me know how it goes

BIOS Restore:

1) Shutdown the computer.

2) Hold down the Windows and B button together while the computer is still turned off.

3) Turn on the computer and continue to hold the Windows and B button until a BIOS Recovery screen appears.

4) Follow on-screen instructions and click on OK

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
