When my laptop screen shrinks and all icons and font becomes large. It operates only in the middle of the screen.the screen doest even come fit after rebooting the systemplz help am so frustrated now.

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you. Let us try these steps to resolve this issue:

 

Connect the PC to an external monitor and check if the issue persists.

 

Install updates using HP Support Assistant

  1. In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant. 
  2. Check for updates. 
  3. If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.  

Note: If you do not have HP Support Assistant installed, Click here to download the same.

 

Also, go to BIOS screen and check if the issue persists outside windows

  1. Turn on or restart the computer.
  2. While the display is blank, press the f10 key to enter the BIOS settings menu.
