Pavilion LAPTOP-NM60S7C8
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am trying to connect my laptop to a projector. I have connected the projector to another laptop so I know it works fine.

I have tried pressing the key with the Windows sign + P and clicking on 'Extend' but nothing happens, and when I go back into that screen it has simply gone back to 'PC screen only.'

On my settings screen under Multiple Displays it simply says 'Didn't detect another display.'

So frustrated with it all, I would really appreciate some help please!!

I've tried all that. On my husband's laptop it worked straight away so I know everything is in working order.

No! My HUSBAND'S laptop worked with the projector, ie it is not a fault with the projector, I haven't solved the problem with MY HP computer!! I had already tried everything suggested in the link and this is now beyond frustrating.

Thanks for the reply,

Could you please help me with the Exact product number.

Which port are you try to use VGA or HDMI?

Try connecting a monitor to the laptop and check if it works? (If available)

Keep me posted,

Cheers:)
