I watch a lot of videos on my laptopn and just today it has started playing all videos in a really zoomed in way whenever it is connected to the charger. I have looked at lots of websites but don't really understand what a lot of it means and am struggling to get my videos back to normal.

Thanks for the detailed information,
Let's perform a system restore to revert your notebook settings to an earlier date when it was working fine. Follow steps from the link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c03327545#AbT5
Follow the steps mentioned below "Restore your computer when Windows cannot start normally"
Let me know,
Cheers!

Welcome to HP Forums,
This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,
Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂
As I understand, video play in zoomed manner,
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
What is the product number of your device? Use this link to find it: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03754824
(Ensure you do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc...).
What is the operating system on the PC?
When was the last time it worked fine?
Does this happen only when the charger is connected?
Were there any hardware/software changes made?
How are you playing the videos?
Once I have the information, I'll help you further with troubleshooting steps,
Cheers 🙂

Hi,
My product number, I think it is this one, is: V0X48EA#ABU
It is a Windows 10 operating system.
It was working fine until yesterday and then mid-video it zoomed in and wouldn't revert back. It only appears zoomed in when it is plugged in and charging but it happens on all media platforms (youtube, Netflix, windows media player, etc.).
I typically use windows media player of the film an TV app that is already set up on the laptop.
There have been no hardware or software changes to the laptop.
I hope this gives you all of the information you needed. Thank you.

Hi, I just wanted to add something because I had the exact problem on my HP laptop/Windows 10.
It turns out it seemed to be a problem with my AMD Radeon driver. I installed the recommended one from their official site and everything seems to be working fine now.
Hope this helps people with similar problems; I was looking around for a solution for a long time and didn't find anything helpful.

@jrev4him You'll have to be more detailed than that, perhaps, you can tell us what steps you've done so far, which application is it zoomed on? When was it last working fine? did you attempt the system restore as suggested by other tech's on this thread?
Meanwhile, try the below steps to resolve issues with the graphics card, if the issue occurs on all applications and not just online apps:
- Select the Start button, type Device Manager, and select it from the list of results.
- Expand one of the categories to find the name of your device, then right-click (or tap and hold) it, and select Update Driver. For graphics cards, expand the Display adapters category, right click your graphics card and select Update Driver.
- Select Search automatically for updated driver software.
- If Windows doesn't find a new driver, you can try looking for one on the device manufacturer's website and follow their instructions.
- If these steps don't work, try reinstalling the driver: Open Device Manager, right-click (or tap and hold) the name of the device, and select Uninstall.
- Restart your PC and Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.
