@DavorR, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand your HP Wide Vision HD Camera is not working on your Windows 10 (64-bit) system. Let’s go through a few steps to get it working again:
Check Camera Privacy Settings
- Click Start > Settings > Privacy > Camera.
- Make sure Camera access for this device is turned On.
- Ensure Allow apps to access your camera is also On.
- Scroll down and make sure the app you're trying to use (e.g., Zoom, Teams) has permission.
Restart the Camera Driver
- Press Windows + X and select Device Manager.
- Expand Imaging Devices or Cameras.
- Right-click on HP Wide Vision HD Camera and select Disable device.
- Wait a few seconds, then right-click again and select Enable device.
Update the Camera Driver
- In Device Manager, right-click on the camera and choose Update driver.
- Select Search automatically for updated driver software.
- If no update is found, visit the HP Support page and enter your PC model to manually download the latest camera driver.
Use HP Support Assistant
- Download or open HP Support Assistant from here. HP Support Assistant | HP® Support
- Run a full system scan to detect and fix hardware issues, including the webcam.
Test the Camera
- Open the Camera app from the Start menu to check if the webcam is working.
- If it still doesn’t work, try using it in another app like Zoom or Skype.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
