Hello everyone,
I'm trying to help our office manager connect dual monitors to her HP ENVY x360 Convert 15m-eu0043dx. This a 2021 or 2022 model. Could anyone advise on how to make this happen (correct docking station, etc.)? I believe the the monitors would need to connect via HDMI. Thanks in advance for your help with this. Much appreciated!

Its specs
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c07895451
It has a good SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 10Gbps signaling rate (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge) port. You can connect
- M1: Using direct HDMI-HDMI
- M2: Using USB-C to DP cable to connect to DP port on monitor
Your machine is compatible with HP USB-C G5 (5TW10AA) dock, I tested on a similar Envy machine.
Regards.

Hi Banhien,
Thanks for your reply. So do you need any software, etc. to setup the dual monitors? The manual for this laptop is very vague and doesn't really mention how to setup dual external monitors. Any guidance you can provide would be appreciated. Thanks again for your help with this!
Monty
Edit: Also could you use an HDMI to USB-C adapter from one of the monitors? Both monitors connect via HDMI port.

You do not need software to setup, just using normal Windows setup.
The USB-C to HDMI should woek but I have not tested them

Hi Banhien,
Sorry I didn't reply back to you sooner. Boy, I've done a lot of Google searching on a verified method of connecting dual displays to the HP ENVY x360 Convert Model 15m-eu0043dx laptop and there's not really any out there. I wouldn't have thought that it would be this difficult or vague. I'd hate to go to the expense of purchasing 2 monitors and then finding out that there is no way to connect them to this laptop and have them work properly. I'm not saying your method wouldn't work but since you haven't done this on the same model HP as mine there's always the chance that it won't.
Do you think using a USB-C dock would make any difference or guarantee results? Thanks again for your advise and input. I do appreciate it!
Monty
Edit: My mistake BanHien. I see where you did recommend a dock in one of your posts above. Sorry about that!

I tested on a few HP Envy 15-e* machines including my 15-ee machine. And your machine should work with an HP USB-C G5 (5TW10AA) dock. HP has 2 or 3 docks called HP-USB-C G5 I myself use 5TW10AA.
Regards.
