Hi, my laptop HP Spectre x360 - 13-ap0023dx only has USB and type C ports, the monitor I have is HP 22fw Display with HDMI and VGA ports
In the past I already tried connecting another monitor that had only VGA in my Spectre with a converter from VGA to type C, but it didn't work
Since this monitor has HDMI, if I buy a converter from HDMI to type C, so it can fit my computer, would I be able to extend the image from my laptop to the monitor?
I don't know if this laptops have the option for image output, so I can duplicate my screen

Hi,
Yes, you can use a USB-C to HDMI adapter (on the thunderbolt port). You can then duplicate or extend the image in Windows settings.
Example
Hope it helps,

Thunderbolt uses USB-C interface. So both USB-C ports on your machine are Thunderbolt as we can see from the spec page
Both USB-C ports offer DisplayPort 1.2 output which you can use to connect a monitor.

thank you, I bought this https://www.intelaf.com/precios_stock_detallado.aspx?codigo=AD-XT-MPXTC565 and it worked fine in the store, I could duplicate the screen, we tried on my laptop but with another monitor. When I got home and tried with my monitor HP 22fw it doesn't allow me to do it
