HP Recommended

Recieved a brand new HP 250 G10. About to begin setting up the PC but noticed the touchpad isn't working. 

Any fix for this or would I need to return it? Tried double tapping the top left corner, but that didn't work.

Remember, I haven't even set up the device, so tips on reinstalling drivers may not apply here (I dunno). Or is it purely a hardware issue and the touchpad would need replacement?
