New HP Pen will not connect to laptop, old pen still connected and can't remove

Hi,

I had a previous HP Pen which connected to my laptop but the tip snapped off and became stuck within the pen so I purchased a new HP Pen (the same model), and for some reason the old pen is still connected to my laptop and I am unable to connect the new pen.

I have removed the battery from the old pen, however laptop is still not detecting new pen. Am tapping the tip onto the screen and nothing happens. Battery definitely works.

Please help, thank you in advance.

I assume you have a Bluetooth pen and not just a stylus

Bring up the Bluetooth settings and delete the old pen

Then click on the "+" or "add device" and pair the new pen

Thanks for your response but the pens are not Bluetooth, so there is no option to remove one and add another. I have attached the link for the pens which are both stylus pens.
