Sorry for my english.
The laptop is cool, if not for a display defect.
Of course, there is a natural “flicker” in the photo that is characteristic of photographing screens, but the defect is also easy to distinguish. The defect is better seen if the photo is enlarged.
I will not describe advantages, everyone knows them.
A defect in the screen is that a vertical pixel grid is visible on solid colors. This defect was immediately upon the first start and setup of Windows.
I thought this was a software problem, more than a week, there was a constant update of the video card drivers. I was hoping the problem would be solved. Did not work out. I decided to contact an authorized service center. I was refused, it turned out that in the system on a laptop with my serial number, the warranty expired a year ago.
HP has filed a claim on the website to challenge the warranty.
By this time, I was already forced to leave the Russian Federation.
The warranty was updated for a very long time, several weeks.
A 14-day return period has already passed by the time the warranty is updated.
Tech support HP only offered repairs.
My comments on the fact that the device was initially defective, that there were problems with the warranty, HP replied that it was sorry, but only the repair.
Contact HP support is another quest. Communication is possible only by calling 8800 and during business hours. There is no way to contact in writing. The site is constantly experiencing technical glitches. Well, the best "advertisement."
To say that I am disappointed with the HP service is to say nothing.
To use an unfortunate set of circumstances at the client to avoid replacing his defective device is very low.
I recommend that anyone who decides to buy any model from this series carefully check the screen and, in case of any doubt, immediately return.
Then it will be too late.
