I recently purchase a ultra wide monitor, is an odyssey gaming monitor c49g94TSSU,  when I connected the devise to my laptop via HDMI the monitor just stays black, thought was my display driver so I updated it and did not fix the problem, I replace the HDMI with  new one and still no progress, then I connected my laptop to my TV, via HDMI, to see I f the port was damage and worked just fine, when I connected my new monitor to another HP laptop work just fine. Mi question is what do I need to do to make my new monitor to work with the above mention laptop?

In advance thanks.

I wish I had good news for you -- but I don't!

You have confirmed that the HDMI port works, the monitor works (on another laptop) and the HDMI cable works, as well.

If the laptop does not see the monitor, there is nothing you can do to FORCE it.
