Hi,

After much disappointment I realize that the laptop does not support HDMI 2.0. I therefor bought the Elite USB-C Hub (4WX89AA) to enable a 4K 60Hz connection with my ThinkVision S28u-10 monitor using an HDMI cable via the hub. However, no matter what I try it refuses to give me anything higher than 30Hz.
Is there a hidden BIOS setting or a specific driver I must install to enable 60Hz on my monitor?

Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

BR,
Andreas

No one with the same issue?

So I connected my Dell D6000 dock via USB-C and a DP-DP cable between dock and screen, and voilà, it works with 4K60p.

However, I must seriously question the truthfulness in the hardware specs of this laptop because running with just one (1) external 4K monitor kills the CPU. And it is nearly impossible to run a Microsoft Teams video call as the CPU immediately shoots through the roof at 100% utilization

This is supposed to be HP's EliteBook. It probably should just be named EntryBook based on its capabilities. STAY AWAY!
