My newly purchased Spectre x360 is great so far, but as I was dabbling with the HP Active Stylus Pen I purchased along with it direct from HP, I noticed there's no pressure sensitivity when using any application, such as MS Paint, PhotoShop or AI 2020 CC. The HP Pen settings in Windows only give options for the stylus' buttons. Also, when using in Photoshop, I select an icon that's supposed to be aware of pressure sensitivity, but the strokes are consistently the same, no matter how much pressure is applied. I also have a screen protector that shipped directly from HP when I ordered my laptop. Would there be any link between pressure sensitivity and a screen protector? I only touch the screen with the stylus pen. I do not put my other hand directly on the screen. Thanks for any help.

Well I can see why this post isn't getting any response from HP. HP does not support it's features (except for the pen's button assignments) because no app from HP is available to check, diagnose, verify, what-have-you, the pen's pressure sensitivity, which it states in the description of the product to be 1024 levels of sensitivity. Not happy about this.

I received the message, but the link no longer works. Anyway I was able to call HP Support in Japan. They couldn't exactly help me with the issue the pen except to perhaps try the "generation 2" pen, to which they said the pressure sensitivity MAY not work either with the graphics programs I have, which include Photoshop 2020 CC. But then again, that's not HP's domain, it's the app makers, and I'll check there. Thanks.
