HP ENVY x360 15.6 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 15-ew0000 (549V7AV)

I have been trying to contact HP about the warranty on my laptop. After 1,5 years the hinge broke, just by regularly opening my laptop. I have never dropped it, or anything.

I have read that this happens to a lot of HP laptops.

My original warranty is expired, but i have an additional Care pack for 3 years.

I have already made a claim, and it said they should contact back in one workday, but it's almost already been a week.

Does anyone know what i should do, and how i can get it fixed fast? I cannot use my laptop, as i don't want to break it even more, and i need it asap for school.

Thanks!
