Dear reader,
I am quite disappointed, stating it nicely. I recently bought a Chromebook HP - as I thought HP is normally good.
I wanted to use the draw app on the chromebook, and make notes on sheet music (I am a professional musician)
The stylus pen specifically for my chromebook X360 is not sold at the HP shop any longer.
I went today to a specialist computer shop - even the expensive HP stylus pen does not work on my chromebook.
We have now tried 4 different universal active stylus pens. Nothing works....
Without the pen, I can just as well throw the chromebook away ( I won't ;-)) but that is how I feel at the moment.
Can anyone help me?
Kind regards

Welcome to the HP Community Forum.
It is disappointing when you don't get what you want.
This inexpensive model series of HP Chromebook does not list support for an active stylus.
If you wish to do so,
If your computer has a touchscreen,
When an active stylus is not an option on your machine,
Consider a Passive Stylus / Pen
Capacitive / Passive pen is not the same thing as an active stylus, of course.
Passive pen works like your finger on the touchscreen.

Hello Mr. Dragon-Fur
Thanks so much, the passive stylus pen does not work either.
I spoke with HP today (sales department) - they said that I bought the wrong Chromebook - it is not compatible with a stylus pen , although there is no information on their website that a stylus would not work.
The lady said that I should have known that a stylus would not work because there was no option to buy a stylus as an accessory when you buy it through the HP website. HP has an Interesting way of thinking....
Kind regards

You are welcome.
True - not all display's are compatible with an Active Stylus.
