Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Hi I have a HP 15 15seq2182au and have just bought a Dell monitor S2722DC which has 

USB-C upstream/DisplayPort 1.2 Alt Mode with Power Delivery (power up to 65W)

 I want to connect via the usb type C port, but my laptop doesn't recognise the Monitor at all. I was able to connect and share screen of my iphone 15 and also have another dell laptop which is old than HP one which is charging and sharing monitor.
