HP Spectre x360 - 13-w007nf

Hello,

I'm not able to use 2 external monitors with my lap top and I dont know why. My laptop specs tell it is supposed to work: '# of Displays Supported' here : https://ark.intel.com/content/www/fr/fr/ark/products/95443/intel-core-i57200u-processor-3m-cache-up-...

Here are the specs of the devices I'm using :

-> Laptop: HP Spectre x360

Processor: Intel Core i5-7200U

Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 620

-> HP USB Travel Dock

2 USB 3.0, 1 VGA, 1 HDMI

-> 2 monitors : LG 22EN33T & LG 22M37D

Resolution: 1920x1080

Diagonal: 21.5"

Both VGA (1 plugged on VGA and 1 plugged on HDMI with an adaptator)

The monitor plugged on HDMI is always the one working even when I switch them.

Thanks a lot for your help !

Andréas

Thank you for your answer!

As I said, it is told on my laptop specs that it can support 3 monitors : '# of Displays Supported' (here: https://ark.intel.com/content/www/fr/fr/ark/products/95443/intel-core-i57200u-processor-3m-cache-up-...)

So why cannot it work ?

Thank you but your answer is not very clear. What is not compatible with what ?

My laptop is compatible with 2 monitors as spectified in the HP link sent. So is it my Dock which is not compatible ?

@andréas

I did post a compatible list of the dock

Regards.

I'm sorry but I think I still dont understand.

You mean the dock is not compatible with my laptop ? I've been using them together for 5 years

@andréas

5 years ? On same machine, same setup ???

I say again, I supplied a compatible list already.

Hope this makes sense.

5 years for the dock with my laptop and 1 monitor. But not the setup with 2 monitors which is new and not working.

I'm sorry but you didnt explain what is the list for: is it the list of laptops compatible with the dock?

If so, it is wrong since my dock is usually working with my laptop.

@andréas

Now with TWO monitors. Can you see the difference between 2 and 1 ? Sorry, I won't go back to this post again

And there are millions or even trillions of notebooks around, they are NOT the same.

Regards.
