There are numbers in the upper right corner of my screen at all times.   At the moment the numbers are:   060   001

The numbers are always there.  Don't know what they mean and would like to not see them all the time.   Can you help?

Hi @Ungawah,

Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A great place where you can find solutions for your issues with help from the community! I understand you are having issues with the some numbers appear on the upper right corner of your screen. Don't worry as I have a few suggestions which should help you resolve this issue.

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:

Could you provide me with the Product number and the Operating system installed on the PC? (Ensure you do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc...) http://hp.care/2bygf7l

Have you recently made any changes on the PC before the issue started?

Did you check if these numbers appear on the Bios screen?

Have you installed any software program lately on your PC?

In the meantime, while you respond, let's try these steps here:

Perform a Hard reset on the PC: A power reset (or hard restart) clears all information from the computer's memory without erasing any personal data. Performing a power reset might fix conditions such as Windows not responding, a blank display, software freezing, keyboard stops responding, or other external devices locking up.

Next thing, I would suggest here is to boot the computer into the Bios and check if the number appear on the screen

1. Turn off your computer
2. Make sure you have connected the power cable
3. Turn on your notebook, as it is starting press the  F10 button repeatedly

Once you are in the BIOS, if the numbers appear on the top of the screen, it is likely a hardware failure. The next two steps may resolve the issue. The first one is to do a hard reset. I have included the document 'Performing a Hard Reset or Forced Reset'. The next and final step is to perform a BIOS update. I have included the information here for you 'Updating the BIOS' as well as updating the graphics card drivers from our HP Support website, using this link.

You could also uninstall the unknown software's from the control panel.

To get into control panel click start on your PC. Search for the control panel. Click control panel once you are in control panel select programs or Programs and features.

Right click on the application which you think are not installed by you and click uninstall.

Let me know how it goes for further assistance. I'll be more than happy to help.

Let me know if those steps worked for you.

If they did, that’s awesome!

Give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons,

That’ll help us and others see that we’ve got the answers!

Good Luck.
