HP Pavilion - 14-ce3064st
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I purchased an HP Pavilion - 14-ce3064st with warranty remaining for 10 more months. A few weeks after purchasing, on boot or from sleep, screen flickers. It will turn completely black when flickering and when I touch the touchpad, it seems to flicker as well. After a hard reboot, the problem stops and will not occur until it awakes from sleep or as boots up after powered off for hours. Troubleshooting steps taken:

  1. Using HP support assist to update firmware / BIOS.
  2. Using device manager to update Display drivers.
  3. Windows 10 Home - recent update

Hi @MilkBreadAndEgg,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Last step which you can try doing a system recovery.

As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Have a great day!
