Hi, I've recently purchased a gigabyte gw34qc ultrawide monitor but my laptop will only allow me to use 2560x1440, not 3440x1440. If anyone has any solutions on how to fix this please tell me.

The specs of your machine is;
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06457904
It has 1HDMI port which is HDMI v1.4 supporting: up to 1920×1080 @ 60Hz (as mentioned on page 3 of the manual). The highest you can get is 4K with 30Hz or a bit more.
Regards.

Hi, but when I plug in my laptop to the monitor it does not allow me to increase the resolution to 3440x1440, I tried to create a custom resolution and it said it exceeds bandwidth or something though the Intel graphics app. 🤔
