Hi,

I really wanted to ask if it was possible to swap the dedicated GPU in the HP Probook 440 G6 the optional graphics card model I have currently. I wanted to know if the Nvidia geforce mx 130 was exchangeable as I plan to get the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB instead. I'm in a position where I can't open up the system to check myself so I'm asking if anyone has any experience with this particular model as it may be part of the small percentage that could have a swappable graphics card. Thank you!

Hi:

The graphics adapter is an integral part of the motherboard and cannot be upgraded.

The only HP notebooks you can change or upgrade graphics cards in would be some of the very expensive HP ZBook mobile workstations.

Below is the link to the service manual.

You will not find any parts in chapter 3 for individual graphics cards, and you will not find a GPU removal and replacement procedure in chapters 5 or 6.
