A few days ago I started having problems with my laptop. While playing games like COD:WW2 it would just suddenly go into hibernation. Keeping in mind that I've played this game and others for hundreds of hours and that problem hasn't occurred once.I updated all my drivers and looked up possible solutions on google but nothing helped. Yesterday I decided that I've had enough of it and reinstalled Windows but the problem was still there. Furthermore, I also used compressed air to clean possible dust build up inside of the laptop.Any help would be much appreciated!

Thank you for posting on HP Forums, MKazi is at your service.
I understand that you have an OMEN by HP - 17-w103nu laptop. I read that while playing games, the laptop goes into hibernation mode You've done a remarkable job performing the steps. I appreciate the steps you have performed and have certainly done a good job.
To assist you better, I would like to know the following information:
- Does the laptop display an error before going into hibernation?
- Does the laptop overheat?
- Are you able to resume the laptop immediately from the hibernation mode or do you have to restart the laptop?
Meanwhile, I suggest you to update the BIOS on your laptop. The BIOS update can be downloaded and installed via this link.
NOTE: The charger must be connected during the BIOS update.
I genuinely hope the issue gets resolved without hassles and the unit works great. Let me know. Cheers! 🙂
