Hi, I purchased an Envy notebook in May 2020. I rarely use it and recently I've noticed that the right hinge where the display connects to the keyboard is gradually misaligning. Computer works fine for now, but the misalignment is becoming substantial. Is there a way to fix this without having to push it back into place every time I close the laptop? I bought a 2 year warranty that covers this BUT despite it being valid until May 24, 2022 and opening support cases/emails/calls since November 2021, no one from HP is honoring the warranty. I paid a significant amount of money for the laptop and the active warranty and while writing this ask for help wanted to warn the community that HP may not uphold their warranty agreement.
