Hi there,
I'm trying to set up a home office, using a Pavilion 15-cs3, to 2 x DELL external monitors. I'd like to extend the display.
The Pavilion has HDMI, USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C™ (Data Transfer Only, 5 Gb/s signaling rate), and 2 USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A (Data Transfer Only)
Do I need to purchase a docking station? Any recommendations for good products that aren't too expensive?
Thanks

@KatAus8 Welcome to HP Community!
I understand that you would like to connect the multiple external monitors.
Do not worry. I will help you in this matter.
The USB C type is only for data transfer. This will not work to connect the display.
You have to use the HDMI splitter to connect the 2 external monitors.
Please have a look HDMI splitter cable.
You could purchase the part from HP, use the HP Parts surfer to identify the part: http://partsurfer.hp.com/search.aspx
And order it via the HP Parts store: https://parts.hp.com/hpparts/CountryChoice.aspx?mscssid=&ccode=ZZ&lcode=ZZ
Or alternatively, Contact HP for setting up an order/service via phone support

You can purchase cable on the local stores.
(HP does not recommend upgrades as the device is equipped with parts that perform at its optimal performance and also, the upgradeable parts listed in HP articles are purely for your ease, though the decision to upgrade will be at your own discretion)
