Hi,
I am trying to connect a second monitor via the USB-C output, on my Hp pavilion x360 convertible ba106TU.
I am using a wavlink USB-C to dual MST adaptor splitter and also tried a Hp universal doc neither of which are working with the monitor.
I have looked for manuals etc to confirm whether my laptop is capable for display from C type USB but cannot find any information.
The monitor is not recognising that is it connected any help appreciated.

Its specs
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05849049
It ONLY has 1 USB 3.1 Type-C™ Gen 1 (Data Transfer up to 5 Gb/s) port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to
- Charge your machine,
- Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter (some hubs may have builtin chip to support this)
If you wish to connect 2 external monitors (only), you can use
- Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable,
- Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as
For more connectivity, please use
True Universal Docking Stations
Regards.
