Troubleshooting black screen issues on HP Notebooks: Click here to view the instructions!

Pavilion 11t-n000x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently performed a clean install of Windows 10.  Afterward my touchscreen stopped working.

The touchscreen works in the BIOS and passes the BIOS touchscreen test.

Windows 10 is up to date (Windows 10 Home Version 1803 OS Build 17134.376 11/8/2018)

The Device manager does not list the HID compliant Touchscreen.  Performing scan for Hardware changes does not add the HID Compliant Touchscreen device.

"No pen or touch input is available for this display"  is listed when view pen and touch info is searched.

I have tried updating drivers for the HP site, to no avail.

Hi,

Try downloading the latest version of HP support assistant and run it. Let it update all drivers, BIOS etc.. and see if it gets your touchscreen working again:

Hope it helps,

Thanks. I have downloaded and run the HP Support Assistant and updated all of the recommended drivers.  The touchscreen still does not function except in BIOS.

This is a frustrating problem since the hardware functions and HP Support Assistant can detect the exact hardware, yet it can not provide the appropriate fix.

Thanks for your help.
