Unfortunately, I cannot find a single instance of this series supporting a pen.

If your computer has a touchscreen,

If an active stylus is not an option on your machine,

Consider a Passive Stylus / Pen

Capacitive / Passive pen is not the same thing as an active stylus, of course.

Passive pen works like your finger on the touchscreen.

The HP 840 G* machines do not have compatible active pens. You need to use the Elitebook x360 machines.
